徐灵儿出身富贵，刘峰来自农村，徐灵儿不顾母亲张雅芝的反对嫁给了刘峰。婚礼当天，刘峰及其家人为了遵循塔债村婚闹伴娘的传统，在徐灵儿明确反对的情况下，仍然偷偷执意进行，结果错把前来参加婚礼的张雅芝当成了请来的小姐对其进行了一系列的侮辱和伤害行为。The film opens with a narrated disclaimer over footage of an opening coffin.
