A young street magician is left to take care of his little sister after his mother's passing and turns to drug dealing in the Los Angeles party scene to keep a roof over their heads. When he gets into trouble with his supplier, his sister is kidnapped and he is forced to rely on both his sleight of hand and brilliant mind to save her。《 酒肆风雪夜 》是一部反映干群互敬互重结下深厚情谊的电影故事片：50年代中，民风淳朴靠山傍水的湘西小镇，年关将近，心急如焚、四处求对联而不得的酒肆王老板巧遇慕名而来的酒客知音，把酒言欢畅所欲言，酒客欣然提笔写下对联并告诉王老板生意制胜之道，此后小酒肆生意红火，每年过春节乡镇也都有春联摆卖，殊不知，酒客便是县长老郑，后来，王老板又与下放劳改的老郑相聚痛饮，为了改善交通、造福乡民，老郑不辞辛劳带领小镇群众筹备修桥，却在一次意外中连续救起几个孩子后沉入滔滔江水中，王老板深情祭奠。。
