改编自山下文吾的同名漫画作品，以人兽共同存在的西顿学园为故事背景，讲述了在有着各式各样动物的西顿学园里，种族数量最少的人类少年间样人暗恋着同为人类的小瞳，却阴差阳错被北海道狼兰华所纠缠，一场动物恋爱喜剧就这样开始了。。本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片将好莱坞的背景改成今日的摇滚乐坛，男主角原是着名的摇滚乐歌手，而女主角则在小型夜总会卖艺。影片中有不少热门插曲，部分片段的镜头和表演都不俗，但整体则显得有点矫揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不过娱乐性还是维持相当水准。本片曾获奥斯卡最佳电影插曲金像奖。。Closed Circuit is structured, in one sense, as a straightforward commercial thriller, with a series of mysterious and bloody murders and a wide variety of potential suspect, each with a secret to hide.
