本片包含的四个故事是道德力量与死刑这两个关键主题的变奏曲。这就提出了一个问题：在专制政权及其看似不可避免的威胁下，个人自由能在多大程度上得到表达？。苍天之拳是原哲夫连载的新作。主要的舞台是在1930年代的上海，当时的中国正是处于内忧外患的年代。故事的主角霞拳志郎和北斗神拳中的拳四郎两人的个性截然不同。相对于拳四郎的冷漠耍酷，我还是比较喜欢霞拳志郎的风趣。霞拳志郎和前田庆次是同一种类型的人。由于故事的背景是在中国，而且又有些历史人物登场，所以看起来备感亲切。。When a baby boy shows up on their doorstep days before Christmas with a note written specially for them, Erin (Liebert) and Kelly (Barrell) must learn how to navigate their new relationship and career dynamics while unexpectedly caring for a newborn.
