小哈奇是蜜蜂王国的王子。由于遭到一群凶恶胡蜂的攻击，哈奇和母亲失散了。落单的他独自踏上了寻找母亲的旅程。 哈奇向昆虫们打听有没有在附近见到蜜蜂群，一路问一路走的哈奇迷了路，来到了人类的市镇塞比亚。塞比亚生活着许多昆虫，然而由于环境遭到人类破坏、再加上螳螂镰吉总来抢夺食物，大家都垂头丧气的。勇敢的哈奇站出来向镰吉发起挑战，毛虫小弯仗义相助，他们成了好朋友。接着，哈奇又认识了小弯的恋人绕绕、蚂蚁艾利康、屎壳郎波巧、知了小鸣、瓢虫比客等。。The plot involves a woman who sets out a well-intentioned plan of bringing together her dysfunctional family in the wake of the family’s matriarch, her mother-in-law. She deceives her husband and others in to believe their mother left rules for the family to follow in the lead up to Christmas.
